4.Inclusive education in Kosovo

Since 2011, Children First Foundation has started the first phase of the implementing project for inclusion of children from disadvantaged communities into the society and education in Kosovo. The project is financed by Czech Development Agency through People In Need (PIN). Within the project, the education of children is supported through Istog learning centre, called Ludoteca Center, in order to increase their chances to enroll and complete primary school. In the targeted community prejudice towards other groups will be diminished and discrimination in schools tackled.The project focuses on integration of vulnerable and disadvantaged children into educational process and raising awareness about causes and consequences of discrimination of people based on language ethnicity or other factors.In 2014 CFF has started the second phase of this implementing project.
